Screen printing and firining

he technique called silk screen printing is based on forcing different enamels through a fine screen with a picture applied onto it by photoemulsification. We use both ceramic and UV-curable enamels (paints).

A metal screen with electrical conductivity is used in work with ceramic enamels. The screen is placed between two pins and heated to the required temperature. The heated screen melts powdery enamel. When required viscority is obtained, printing starts. It is through this technique that the highest quality of painting of the finest detail is achieved. Then the product with the applied design undergoes hard firing in a kiln.

The technique of printing with UV-curable enamels has a number of differences. This type of enamel does not need heating and a nylon screen is used. The enamel has a highly dispersed structure (a smaller size of the particles). Hard firing is not required. Enamel polymerization occurs under effect of UV radiation. This allows to widen the field of application of this kind of printing and apply designs onto coated surfaces (the coating would not survive hard firing). The minimum thickness of the coating film and its instant polymerization enable complete elimination of graphic distortion of screen dots on the print, that is a more accurate tonal and colour rendering. UV-curable paints are perfect for printing of screen images. Their use allows to obtain maximum resolution and, therefore, high design quality.

Colour registration accuracy – 0.15 mm,

minimal line width – 0.13 mm.

We use automatic equipment from the best international producers, Ferman and Kammann.

for smaller lots- semi-automatic imported equipment is used.

We have the biggest fleet of silk screen printers in Ukraine.

Our annealing lehrs come Antonini, Italy - the world leader in production of   this kind of equipment.

We also have our own photolaboratory and a printing screen laboratory, prepress and prototype bays.

All areas are equipped with equipment imported  from Taiwan and Switzerland.

  High printing accuracy!

Quality control

You can be confident in excellent result due to quality control at each stage of production!

All incoming glassware and materials undergo thorough testing.

First, our experts select the most suitable method of design application onto the tare. In the course of this both the artistic design of the work and the technical aspect are taken into consideration with the experts working through the methods of application in detail.

Production of test units at the company’s factory is an obligatory stage of work aimed at confirming the correctness of the selected option.

And finally, immediately before the start of commercial production, we make a sample which meets all the client’s requirements.

Our professional arsenal has a certified measuring laboratory which guarantees a most rigorous product quality control.

  Quality and proffesionalism!
