This is the effect when precious metal(gold or platinum) containing enamel is applied on top of a layer of usual enamel. As a result, a very thin layer of the precious metal covers the enamel, rising above the relief, which creates the 3D effect.
Window
This technique is used for frosting when certain areas of the glass surface are covered with a special preparation for protection against frosting. The design of the decorative element with the “window” creates a special effect: the print is applied onto the opposite surface of the glass so a well-defined design can be seen in the mirror reflection of the “window”, and in its place, it becomes wider from the “lens effect”of the full bottle. Turning the bottle, you can see the finest details of the decoration.
Frosting
Etching of the outer surface of the glass by immersion into a special solution. The depth of the etching depends on the time the glass spends in the solution. The deeper the etching, the stronger the frosting of the glass.
Frosting paint
The special composition of this enamel becomes rough-finished upon termal treatment and it is virtually indistinguishable from chemical frosting. It is possible to identify the frosting application technique by attaching some sticky tape to the frosted surface. In the case of chemical frosting, the glass surface will regain complete transparency, while in case of combination of chemical frosting and flexolabel, it is possible to achieve the “window” effect. When a frosting paint is used, the transparency of the glass is not regained upon sticky tape application.
Restoration (restoring paint)
This technique requires application of a layer of a special enamel resulting in partial restoration of transparency of frosted glass. The enamel fills all roughness of the etched glass thus restoring the transparency of the surface. As the layer of enamel is not homogeneous and contains some rippling, the transparency is restored to 80%.
Меtallic colours (paint containing fine mеtallic fractions)
Enamels with high content of metal dust of various concentrations and colours. These enamels are coarse, so it is impossible to make small details and thin lines with them. The effect of combination of bulk gold and metallic is very interesting.
Platinum (silver), gold
These are enamels with high content of precious metals. The percentage of precious metal influences the tint of the enamel. An interesting effect can be achieved from a combination of “3D” and “flat” gold (platinum).
Seelk screen painting with ceramic enamels
The technique is based on forcing different enamels through a fine screen with a picture applied onto it by photoemulsification. A metal screen with electrical conductivity is used in work with ceramic enamels. The screen is placed between two pins and heated to the required temperature. The heated screen melts powdery enamel. When required viscority is obtained, printing starts.
Cоating
Coating is a technology of complete coloring of glassware using the electrostatic spraying. Coating can be performed with any colour with a matt, glossy or clear surface. Ruby or cobalt glass effect can be achieved with the help of coating, the bottle can be given a velvety black colour, bright, coloured, non-transparent, high-gloss or matt finishes (imitation of a ceramic bottle) can be obtained as well as their coating in gold or silver colour.
Seelk screen painting with UV-curable enamels
Sort of silk screen printing with UV-curable enamels (paints). The process of polarization (hardening) of paints on a print is carried out under ultraviolet rays. For this purpose are used the special feeds (UV driers). Polarization occurs instantaneously. Minimum thickness of the paint layer and its instantaneous polymerization contribute to nullifying of image distortions of raster elements on the print. Advantages – the ability to print on pre-painted surfaces, the maximum resolution ability and high quality of the image while tonal printing.
Mat a bottle!
Matting
Special surface processing that changes the very structure of glass and excludes image dimness or rubbing. This unique technology allows to mat any volume packaging.
